PRESENTED BY RYAN JAMES FINE ARTS

Mon - Wed - By appointment

Thur-Sat - 11 a.m. - 7 p.m.

Sun 12-5 pm

Ongoing until May 31

I’m excited that my artwork, Totems #5 (storm lashing) is part of this biennial, selected by a jury of professional curators and other fine arts professionals. This work was influenced by visits to First Nations villages all along the west coast of Canada. In these villages, weathered totems stood, watching over the abandoned sites, sentries, and reminders of what has been, and has yet to be.

SOLO SHOW BY MARDELL RAMPTON

PRESENTED BY PLACE DES ARTS, Sponsored by Monte Creek Ranch Winery

Solo show, Balance

Mezzanine Gallery. Place des Arts

Ongoing until Mar 17

I’m excited to see 16 pieces from my body of work including several recently completed pieces hanging at the gallery. I’ve carefully selected them to tell a story about balance – how having a balance disorder has impacted my life, and given me a unique perspective from which to create artwork that embodies the challenges each one of us faces in trying to achieve balance in the midst of the frenzied pace of our modern world.
